Nobody NEEDS any of this. Some WANT to. That's the point. I really don't understand why it's so difficult for some to realize not everyone agrees with pushing their HS memories onto their kids.

Some have said just that - there are kids that want it. But has it lived up to expectations? Also I don't know too many teens that do everything their parents want. If you're going to do it your heart better be in it.

That's what I said. Some still want HS enough they're willing to do what it takes. if everyone wanted DA so badly, why do so many take advantage of the loopholes? Or some even flat out break the rules?

I couldn't sleep last night because I couldn't understand why kids didn't want to play high school. It just bothers me that parents are depriving their child of playing soccer with their friends. I wish that everyone was like me and telling my kid to play for an ECNL team. Although at the end of the day, the ECNL kids and DA kids will be working in the same bank after college, my ECNL kid just might re-live her HS days vs the DA kid. And BTW, I hate how my neighbor mows his lawn and I think my car is better than his. THERE! I just got it off my shoulders. I feel so much better......

Not playing high school, being captain etc is regrettable. The DA thing is very temporary and the kids involved are part of a short lived experiment

Save your tongue in cheek post and re-read it in 5 or 6 years, by then you won’t care about club soccer and will view things differently.

Subjectivity aside; the u15 OW team is the real deal. Parents suck, but the kids are good. That’s the only team; the others are awful.

Real deal in GDA. They’re 3rd rate in CT behind CFC and FSA ECNL.

No, this particular OW team is better than the CFC and FSA teams. The Sporting players helped them; to be clear. FSA scrimmaged then twice and narrowly lost both times. The CFC and FSA teams are better than all the other OW teams. Except maybe the FSA 04 team; they are pretty terrible.
