Besides, lecturing this group is as useful as tits on a bull.
I actually disagree. I think the majority of the bashing is definitely done by parents. It’s sad and pathetic. The negativity and hatred on here is astonishing at times.

      Not really true.

There's a mix of parents, coaches, and club peeps on here posting. A lot of the posts reflect experience and deep understanding of the youth sport. Some of the posts are clearly for entertainment purposes only.

What is ultimately clear is that OW's best days are long gone, the club doesn't develop, and they got to this point, in part, by using daddy coaches who push their own kids and personal agendas at the expense of the club, team, and players. Well, that and mold.

We left OW because at the younger ages they pick 4 or 5 kids and only try to develop them. Not really sure why they do this and would think since the kids are there and paid it would be in their best interest to try and develop all equally. With the model they have it is no wonder most kids get replaced at the older ages.

I didn't understand that. Why did they mention the player that scored two goals was from another club originally?

Unless you were somehow really burned by a club there's little incentive to bash. You move on because it wasn't a good fit or whatever. At least that's what sane adults do. I've had a few poor club experiences over the years but I'm not going to waste my time bashing them. Usually the market takes care of bad clubs or coaches. I focus on my kids teams and their coaches. I don't even pay much attention to the other teams at their clubs

Clubs, on the other hand, have every incentive to bash. It's a battle for them; too many clubs, not enough talent, lots of inflated egos

How about the posters stalking the rosters to see ages of girls playing up as well as playing time? Especially if they’re not with the club. That is really weird.

Disagree. So much of the negativity and bashing is definitely parents. Kids are being attacked specifically, most recently in regards to the HS season. Club owners are not on this cesspool of a site trashing individual HS players. No chance. I doubt they’re on here at all. If so they may prop their club or bash another club, but no way they’re attacking specific kids.

Different poster - I agree kid bashing is from parents. Just a bunch of insecure aholes who think their own kids walk on water. Club bashing is largely club on club violence.

It's been said many times.....2003 is just not a good age group in CT.

FSA, CFC and OW really aren't very good.
