Poor Oakwood, what will become of you?

8 games of there 20 or so game schedule for the coming season against Seacoast and Boston Bolts. No wonder why so many kids left this past season. If they are playing the same teams over and over again more than twice in the given season why not play ECNL and high school. No MLS academy teams scheduled to play Oakwood, the boys side will struggle keeping players going forward.

No doubt the new MLS tier structure will hurt clubs in the long run (assuming it's expanded). This year was only just announced and is only for the U19s. Many have been caught unaware. Players were leaving well before this announcement for other bigger issues - dissatisfaction with coaching, the club, the league

No one was caught unaware. even on this site it has been rumored for at least 2 years. While it might have just been posted i am sure all the clubs were already aware as scheduling would have been done at least by beginning of summer.

Contracts go out late spring, well before this announcement or schedules. There's always rumors in youth soccer and on TS (for the few that read it). It's only one team for now, but you can be sure next spring this will be a huge red flag for all the rest

Again this is for 18/19 year olds. They dont really have tryouts for this age. likely same teams and a view invited players.
