Cameron said it’ll be about collectively trying to fill Kostmayer’s shoes, not finding a like-for-like replacement for the former U.S. youth national team player.

“We don’t need to go out and find another Lumi, we just need to find a few players who are really bought in,” Cameron said.
"former U.S. youth national team player" ..... her size advantage is gone. Not much left anymore. Cash it in in quickly before even more catch her.

Agree with the other poster that the sister relied on her size but didn’t focus enough on skill. She isn’t as prominent as she was in the younger ages.
Does she have a foreign BC? When she was younger, she was so MUCH bigger than her supposed peer group.

The only thing that has changed is the number of clubs in this same sized market has gone up. Their biggest problem is that their coaching is under the microscope and they're getting found out embarrassingly. They never had to truly coach before and the DA came around and is exposing their inability to create a consistent quality product coming out of their clutches.

It's time they sell to one of the big dogs.
Are you talking girls side? For boys they have good coaches. If you say no then you are just a hater. They ain't perfect but they have good coaches.

And NYSC is an odd choice, aside from geography. OW stinks, but they are better than this club. OW PO the family or something?

Yes he went back to Pomperaug. Taft and recruiting didn’t work out.
The parents think they know better than anyone else and keep moving their kids around and the kids are paying the price. NYSC? That’s a step down or a lateral move at best with a tougher commute (right now). If you’re going to stomp your foot and leave then at least make smarter choices.

Do you mean he’s going back to Pomperaug this coming fall?

NYSC is a step down for girls. OW finished ahead of them in all age groups.

It is a step down; which says something because OW is average at best.

The only step up in NE GDA is NEFC.

Ask anyone involved with Revs. The MA board has a thread that goes on forever about how bad they are. But if you're a CT kid that can make NYCFC or Red Bulls? Yeah. Do it.

For girls in the Northeast NEFC is the only club that would do well in the ECNL.

When looking at the clubs as a whole; this is a fact.

OW is in no position to criticize MLS Academy coaches. They should actually work on getting through the group stage of playoffs before they start talking smack. Actually, get INTO the playoffs before spouting off.

Preach brother, couldn’t agree more. Terrible coaches.
