Coaches don't window shop at showcases. They go with a shopping list to see players who have expressed an interest or have had a club coach give a positive recommendation for. If you contact coaches and they don't show up, or if nothing happens past them just showing up? Coach list isn't great for lower tier NE club like Oakwood. Programs like Duke and Michigan aren't looking at these kids.
Most kids are going to end up at schools within a few hours from CT. Not a ton of them are represented out in CO.
People get caught up in 150 schools attending but how many are schools that your kid would be interested in or an appropriate level?
Have a look at the PDA list. It's the ultimate showcase for kid in the Northeast. Back when TS had a few strong teams as Oakwood he was able to get those NPL teams into PDA. I'd take that all day long over flying to CO.Comment
