Are you going to play games with 5 players? Because you're not going to get more strong players in that's for sure; you really don't have many now. Mediocre is better than less than mediocre/non existent

No kids are trying out all the time. We'll be fine. Just last week the two best vale girls tried out.

Is this really even a discussion? If the GDA makes for another full season that would probably be an upset. It's a failed experiment here.

The 2001s are all set and the 2002 kids should be able to use the platform to get recruited this year which many of them already have. 2003 and younger need to make their moves this year.

The issue is where do they go? CFC rosters are already stupidly large and to compound matters they have a strong 2004 squad. FSA has more reasonable rosters but their 2003 team is strong and they probably only have room for one or two top kids.

As someone close it, I can tell you that many feel stuck. Oakwood is good club in a bad league. The strong NPL team model is probably best. 2002 OW NPL girls are in a top flight at Jefferson Cup and probably stand a good chance of getting accepted into PDA. As far as recruiting those are good events.

Let’s see how many 2003s and 2004s you have for GDA next fall when they are single age. Maybe you can go back to 8 v 8 games in GDA

Those squads with single age groups would struggle with strong CJSA teams.

If GDA knows what's good for them they don't initiate that next year. They need to rescue what they have, not compound their problems. BDA might be able to take it but if the lose MLS clubs maybe not there either

Parents and players are smarter than that. CFC would be the best option for the players whose needs aren’t being met at Oakwood. CFC will have two strong ECNL teams per age group come fall. FSA can barely string together one decent ECNL team.
