I would imagine that college placements have a lot to do with where a student wants to go and what level they want to play. My child at chose her college based on academics not whether it was D1, D2 or D3. She is playing at the school she wanted to go to and at the level she wanted to, decided she wants to experience all college has to offer.

Or is it based on how good your kid is? The club they belong to has nothing to do with their college commitments just an FYI. You can play for OW and never get an offer, just saying. It is insane how clouded everyones brains are when it comes to this stuff. I just sit back and laugh.

Nope not OW! But my player is happy with her choice, after all how many players do you know that are playing soccer for a living. In the scheme of things soccer is not that important just something that will be enjoyed along with the college experience and the ability to study abroad.
