We have had two Daddy coaches over the years. We have found them to be engaged and determined to train up every player, not just cater to the best kids. We are always training, when it drizzle's our practices were never cancelled, they never were on the phone or disinterested. Always more tourneys, games, indoor play and the list goes on.

Our two Dad coaches never put their kid in a position they didn't deserve to play or playing time too

As long as Daddy or Mommy are fair and know the game and can teach it, I think it's a huge win.

Yes that can happen, but it is very rare. Parent coaches should only coach players other than their own, and only if they are qualified for whatever level they are coaching.

My issues is more that parent coaches are only there for the time that that kid is playing. When the kid is done the coach is done. It doesn't allow the club to get any kind of rhythm.

Says the daddy coach. I have seen daddy coaches at OW giving their kids unearned time. Regardless, OW is done. Coaching quality seems lower than other clubs and all OW seems to have is a perception of quality that they once earned but long since lost.

FSA wants no part of oakwoods indoor facility or its outdoor they dont need it in any way shape or form. If anything sporting purchases oakwood or vice versa. If anything FSA expands its current facility and outdoor fields

Sporting + OW makes much more sense - Sporting is the lower level, OW the higher. FSA already has enough A B and C teams.
