Oakwood is crappy indoors most definitely . If they can clean that dump a little maybe they'd get more teams there. Sporting plays there one because they have a relationship with oakwood. so we play one session there and one at fsa . Playing at both have it's advantages. Playing on the boards where it's nonstop is going to make your kids reaction speeds lot faster and their cardio legit. That's the only reason sporting is there. Think faster play faster with lots of touches on the ball.

Would be better if OW had more of a spread of teams. OW teams are very organized on the field from a young age. Their kids understand movement off of the ball and combination play early on. Makes it a tough match up for Sporting if you care about results.

While it bruises the egos of the parents it will help the Sporting kids in a few months when they move back outside and play at their own level

i don't think you are watching the littles at OW. They ARE NOT doing very well. Unorganized. Well that's what you get with a ex keeper from Uconn who thinks she's all that. You get crap

Oakwood is dead in the water. All top GDAP clubs have pulled out so they are left with a pathetic group of teams to play. Waste of time and money for the Oakwood families to travel to Syracuse etc to play poor teams

Actually, I completely agree with the statement, its just that its said 1,000,000 times on every thread like its new information. Plus, I can care less what OW kids are doing and what league they are playing in. I just worry about my kid and my self.

and I have kids at OW and they'll continue to stay there because their friends are there and they are having fun. If they decide to play HS, then so be it, we'll leave. It'll be their decision. But the pompous fools here on TS that think they are going to influence anything in soccer culture are the actual delirious ones.
