I agree that they should shut down program for remainder of season. However, the AD should place the blame on his shoulders. He is the one that let this fester and spread. He allowed back this family after they left for one year. I bet he is kicking himself right now for the initial cave to the parents demands. He should have stuck with the coach and started program from scratch. It always take a full four year cycle for a coach to get comfortable and system in place.

What exactly did this parent do? I see that he attacked a rival coach, but were punches thrown? Did he try to choke him out? I’ve him a Hungarian Back Breaker? Superfly Snuka him off the guard rail in the parking lot? How long did it last? All of these are important questions to be answered before “jumping to conclusions” (Office Space reference).

Sherman probably has some coin, so it is good that asst coach went to the hospital. I hope the civil charges follow. Glad Wilton was beat today too. Wilton route 7 is like a strip mall. Central New Jersey with some deeper pockets.

This Swastika stuff has been going on for years in that town , seems like every 6 months there’s new finding , the schools response always has the same ending “ we will fight this and be a stronger community “

I really don’t know what’s going on Wilton, a small group or individual is really making the Town look bad , unless it’s a bigger problem than I thought

Lots of towns with money in the area but Wilton keeps cropping up with issues more than the others. It can't just be an entitlement issue.

The swastika is one thing, but post it notes saying Jews must burn, kind of takes it to another level. You could argue a young kid who has seen a ww2 movie and just say uniforms didn’t understand what was behind the symbol. But leaving messages that Jews will be burned indicates specific hate. Hard to claim you don’t understand that message vs the symbol.

Kids at that age get that from home. Same with using your fists. Not surprised hockey dad passed that learned trait to his seed just like I am not surprised some privledged wasp passed down bigotry.

Last incident was at a middle school. I don't know about your school system but ours starts teaching holocaust and that ugly part of history by 6th grade. Kids know what it means.

I heard asst Ludlowe Coach was accused of pulling girls hair and that’s why parents confronted coaches. I play in a men’s league and last year I heard that coaches team got kicked out of league because he assaulted a Youth Referee, punched some 18 year old in face.

I am an AD at a very exclusive University and I can tell you that I don’t care about the drug and Alcohol activity that exsists there , our kids are happy taking Oxycodone , Naloxone , Heroin , Weed and Alcohol. We also try our best in limiting the amount of student dealers on campus which keeps price control and prevents gang warfare.
My biggest priority is for the safety of my students , teachers and the surrounding community, it is my job to make sure I throughly and I mean throughly check out any incoming recruits from their previous High School in what I call as incoming danger to the community at large, any of these infractions will be grounds to revoke acceptance and they include Red Cards, 3 or more Yellows in 4 years , Fights against opponents or teammates (Cat fights included) quitting teams ( in season or out) Pain in the tush parents ( paying or not) .

While we stand by our drug dealing students and users , we absolutely and deniably will enforce our schools laws to remove or deny any High Schooler with any of the above violations.

Love it! I agree Drug activity is more of problem than cat fights. There’s no question that I’ve ever seen on a college application that asks if you were ever involved in an on field sports cat fight, and none to my memory does it ask if your parent was either. They do ask however of Suspensions , Expulsion, arrests and or medical stability.
