    Winter Soccer

Are there any solid youth leagues or youth indoor tournaments around to join? My sons club goes to one training a week in the winter and I want to keep him active.

Play basketball. The kid will be better off.

Sure. While that kid is dribbling with their hands, the other is dribbling with their feet.

No brainer which is better for development.

Everson offers a lot in the winter in terms of futsal and winter clinics. Lots of winter leagues around but you'd need a team. CT Select runs out of waterbury and offers futsal training all year and skills clinic on Fridays.

I used to think the same think - I don’t anymore. Development only goes so far. No club wants to see you upset the order of things because your kid put work in and got better too quickly.

Thank you, do you recommend one over the other?
