The club, and parents, don’t understand how you construct a TEAM. To be fair most clubs and coaches around the area don’t either. Just gather the “talent” and expect to win.

Agree from what little Ive seen of these different teams they are just aggregating talent and hoping for the best, but if they all look the same, play as individuals, and have attitudes on top of it then you will not win - ever. It’s like staffing a team of Tom Brady’s at putting them at every position on the field. Not going to work - don’t care which given Sunday it is. To save this club you need an architect for a director who will build each team with certain characteristics in mind for each position and match players closest to it and develop from there. You now have a plan, but only you can choose to execute it.

The second step is actually thinking critically about who you have playing each position and why. Step three is developing each player toward the standard for that position.
