Clubs will operate separately im sure but with some fluidity between them for operations costs and staffing opportunities. Probably will never be noticeable to the customers.

MLSN has added IFA and FA Euro in the Northeast Div and Ironbound and Sporting Delaware in the Mid Atlantic over the past few seasons. No reason STA couldn't get in on its own.

Who says - depends on how tight the contract is with MLSnext. From a league perspective same number of teams operating in the North East. Lots of loopholes are possible. Team practices in NJ and plays home games in Southern CT at some rented fields while Portland fields are returned to nature. I’m creative but this isn’t a hard way to force the leagues hand.
