He expressed soccer knowledge, independence, and strong parental interest. Nothing scares the big 3 more than that combination. They literally $ hit their pants because they fear a mutiny. What would happen if every kids parents actually played soccer and had a crooked eyebrow at the shortsighted and for some reason steadfast favoritism expressed at these clubs? You might create a tournament team to “show them”. You might play anywhere and everywhere just to “prove it to them”.
