You're obviously new to Oakwood and have no clue how far their star has fallen.

There have been so many changes to the landscape since OW was THAT Oakwood. It's less indicative of what they are doing and more shows the availability of options. Sure, a major facelift is needed over there, but that's only a piece of the puzzle.

They haven't adapted to the changes. While GA isn't always a destination league there's no reason OW couldn't be a destination club like it once was. NEFC and a few other clubs have managed it. They have garbage FSA right in their backyard, ripe for the picking.

ow has bad coaching on the girls side.. its a boys club.. always has always will be.. the girl teams out number the boys teams and they carry the cost of the boys side... hs aged girls at ow play 6 months for 3k.. hs aged boys at ow play 10 months for 3k... does that make any sense

Boys hopping off that train now too though; to FSA, HA, CFC... bad as it may be, kids do want to play in HS more than they want to be cannon fodder for legit MLSN teams after all.

Especially given a poor recruiting track record on top of giving up HS. More are deciding it isn't worth it.

what's the cost for CFC, FSA and other clubs for those same 6 months. My guess is the same.
