That's just the thing. CFC's boys teams are also hot garbage and FSA has the reputation for poor soccer and disengaged coaches. So all of the "places to be" are horrible? If you believe all of this, then where should a kid go?

For talented girls, there's one in-state choice.
For talented boys, I'd guess that there are several options that are all generally the same - including CFC and HA and OW and FSA. yes, all of them. One sucks? Good, then your kid can easily slide onto the top team and make it better. That sounds like a good problem to me.

as a whole FSA boys are the strongest in the state. Im sure there out teams in certain age groups at the other clubs that might be as good or better than FSA but as a whole FSA is at the top. CFC boys.....not a chance they should even be mentioned in the same breath as FSA and/or OW

True, but things change, right? I mean, if you're still lumping OW up there... OW barely has younger teams anymore.

MLSN is the only thing keeping OW alive on the boys side, barely

and the girls side is dead in the water cause RD does not care and keeps coaches like mogie on the sidelines. he runs girls teams to help pay the bills and keeps the boys side afloat.

I think if FSA girls wasn't as bad as it is, OW girls would struggle even more

That will be a dynamic to watch for sure over the next couple years. Might be trending that way and could snowball if talent pipeline improves and a few key coaches drop in.

agree if FSA was'nt at the bottom of every age group, but just by playing in the ECNL the OW girls program would just go under

Except for a few of the u17s (that left for stars lol) no one on girls side even close to what ECNL talent level requires.

there's ecnl talent at ow for sure, the issue is they hire low end high school qualified coaches.. mogie / rafala run the oldest teams. waste of time. we left......

Does the guy who runs OW social media ever post anything other than his daughter’s highlights? Seriously, he even still posts the one that left for cfc! Then we wonder why ow sucks? There’s exhibit A.
