To improve her game? GAL is mediocre. If she's any good she's been on coach radar's for awhile and well on her way to offers. Moving won't change that.

Winning GAL is cute but there’s another higher level league out there. Kid is good and obviously going D1. They can do what they want and ECNL is the top league. Maybe shut up, watch, and learn?

Yolo guys. Where’s the ceiling? Staying in CT is a ceiling of sorts relative to coaching and teammates that can feature your talents. Not involved here, but it’s not lost on me that if someone has better anticipation and execution that you cannot get the resulting play unless other players can match it. As Gretzky said, “skate to where the puck is going to be”. A fine quote for a striker perhaps, but what if you are the playmaker? I don’t know this girl, but I have this same problem with my kid who thinks and reacts faster than his teammates and he plays to where they should be (if they only anticipated his next move upon winning the ball and hence moving into space upfield for a quick transition). It’s actually really annoying to be on a team like that as a player (or the parent watching because you know what is happening and why). Again don’t know the girl and cannot stand OW but it’s a real problem in my book. We may one day be a similar story you write about. Some people see the game differently. This unfortunately isn’t a game of individuals so a persons best talents usual require collaboration/quid pro quo. What good is a sick pass or fancy sequence if someone flubs the shot or gets defeated by the defender?
