Wow. You must be a terrific evaluator of talent. Are you a scout, coach, or soccer analyst of some kind? Enlighten us on how you can determine if a current16/17-year old will ever see the field in close games at the college level.

Not the poster but statistically and more importantly historically with OW the odds aren't in their favor. But that's ok - lots of kids don't wind up playing or barely playing and are off rosters by junior year. It's just a fact and it isn't exclusive to OW.

Agreed. This is not OW specific. Playing all four years at a D1 level is a huge commitment, and for many not worth the effort as one starts to think about a professional life beyond soccer.

Wishing the OW 05 girls good luck in the GA Semi's. My D competed against them when she was in GA (now ECNL) and in my mind, they are every bit as good as the best clubs in New England, no matter the league. I understand the other ages aren't quite as successful, but that 05 team is great and I'll always root for NE teams to do well on the national stage
