Since BDA changed to MLSN there's an even bigger delineation between the pro clubs and all the pay to plays. At the same time
1) it's gotten harder and harder to land a spot at a quality D1 let alone for any $
2) there's more alternatives out there for players similarly targeting lower level and D3 programs that don't require up HS
3) covid pushed some to re evaluate their priorities and finances. The price value for club soccer is very poor + the time suck. The industry is pricing itself out of the market 4) OW a nd BS owners are phoning it in a d it shows

Post 1022 explains posts '23 and '24. Unless you're at a pro club or a top starter and one of the better MLSN pay to plays (which BS and OW aren't), then doing it may not be worth it.

How would fsa and cfc do there? Is it OW being bad or any other CT club would do same?

OW used to be so much stronger with most teams at least in the top half of their brackets. Of course CFC or FSA would struggle to compete in MLSN, but some top players from each with better coaching? They could probably do the same if not better. Hard to do worse!

My club is the best! We only play top quality opponents. Nobody else is close. Everybody except me is wasting time and money. I am the only parent that has made every correct decision in soccer.

oakwood lacks the coaching

their coaches are too busy posting on here to actually coach their teams. Probably why kids are leaving the club in droves.
