It was obvious. And when I asked my kid what they were (seemingly) upset about it was confirmed.

Could really care to discuss it more than that. Some go to showcases needing to find ways to shine. Some play. And, no, my kid did fine but fine isn’t what they look for.

Most likely there were there were other local players there and they all know who plays where. Dude deliberately calls out an OW player who was at a specific camp, not hard to figure out. Just reading this thread. Take a minute, go back and read your own posts here. They are about someone else's 16/17 year old daughter. If you don't understand the issues with that then you have bigger issues.

Put down the keyboard, try to enjoy this your experiene your kid is going through and try not to make it about you.

Oakwood for boys is fine. For girls, not so much. Too many options in too small an area and the division of leagues isnt helping. Is what it is.
