It is high school soccer! Most coaches pull their starters once the blow out is evident. Guess they are concerned with ridiculous records instead of team soccer. Wonder how they will do in a few weeks when the playoffs start? It will be a "miracle" if she gets 8 goals in a quarter final or better playoff game!

If the team was in a tough district playing harder schools this would not be possible. But kudos to her. She will be highly recruited.

Whatever happened to the 8-0 "mercy rule" that is common in HS soccer? The HS games I've watched are stopped once you hit 8-0 after 45 minutes of play. I guess with a name like Miracle anything can happen!

It has this in her highlight write up "At the other extreme, she was held to one goal in an 8-2 loss to Ponte Vedra and shut out in an 8-0 loss to [Bartram Trail fl-w], the only opponents Matanzas has played that has factored in the state or regional rankings this season."

Same teams every year for girls. Mostly private- especially 1A and 2A. Jax teams are strong again. American Heritage in 3A is strong. Viera's won 4A last couple but must've graduated cause not as strong against better teams and doesn't have challenging schedule. 5A should be tough
