    Shorter # games approved!

    Shorter Prep Games approved. Some counties still might eliminate programs and charge to play.

    It sounds bad, and like football is getting everything, but when you think about it, football only has like ten games a season, where soccer has like 20. And cutting ten percent of 20 is only two games.

      I don't know what the big deal is. Soccer players don't showcase for coaches (really) in high school. There are some in state coaches at the Final Four for the State Championship, but that is about it.

      Most high schools play too many games and practice too much causing over use injuries in soccer player. Cutting back 5 games a year should be better for the athletes.

        I couldn't agree more. For soccer this is a good thing. We need less games and more training .

          what about the JV soccer programs? I hear they are on thin ice in Duval county
