very true. Its no secret that the Newsomne coach has no clue about soccer but benefits from having a plethora of highly developed club players.

I can only speak for the girls: Newsome & Plant. You could put George Jenkins in there if you consider Lakeland part of the Tampa area.

Yes, Newsome wins on sheer talent. The coaching is less than stellar, but than again it is a high school coach, which is really just a glorified baby sitter, particularly with soccer.

Hope eastlake gets a new boyscoach this year..that a.s. Is no coach..the kids run there own practice,,he has had 2 years of great talent.lets see what happens this year..

Sunlake boys went farthest at State out of all Tampa Bay area HS last year. They lost a dozen seniors bu should still be good.

This just proves that fishhawk is a force to reckoned with, the majority of the newsome players play club at fishhawk. Sorry WFF

Actually the four Newsome boys that made all county last year all play for the Houston Dynamo Tampa U18 team. They don't play for Fish Hawk or WFF

I don't think they will do as well this year but will still do well just not final four material.
