The girls on my daughters final four team are very upset and mad at their coach. They don't understand why the week before the games the coach separated the "subs" from the rest of the group and didn't include them in practice. Apparantly many of the "subs" - which include seniors and juniors AND WERE RECRUITED TO PLAY AT THIS SCHOOL - were distraught and this upset all the girls. This group is very close and all are hurting. Why on earth would he do this before such an important event ??

Re: What's the point?
THEY WERE RECRUITED? - you must be mistaken! Everyone knows that doesn't happen in H.S. . I believe it may even be against FHSAA rules. None of the schools playing this weekend seem to be bragging about their recruitment programs, so I'm sure it doesn't happen. Otherwise the private schools would not be playing on an even playing field. - Hey! maybe THAT's why they call it a pitch!

High School Recruiting? Athletic recruiting at the high school level is illegal throughout the United States, as is exercising "undue influence" to coerce young students to switch schools.
Everybody has to play by the rules. That's the essence of what high sports is all about.
There are no rules about separating the Subs. Looks like this coach has picked his starters and is sending a message of some kind.

Re: What's the point?
No, Private Schools are NOT allowed to recruit. They cannot offer athletic scholarships. They cannot offer academic scholarships to players they want. Anyone that tells you otherwise is lying! It is against FHSAA bylaws. If a school is doing that, they better hope it doesn't come to light.

They do it until caught. It happens all over the country. It's usually some disgruntled bench players that turn the coach in.
There was an extreme case where big players were brought in from American Somoa, provided with fake utility bills to prove residence, housed by coaches in this country to play on a (American) High school football team. There were turned in and caught.
lesser cases go on all the time, especially in private schools. If caught, they are disqualified from post season tournaments.

Re: What's the point?
Representation is the player of the association football which in the existing player and exchange during match has in pitch. You can do in order to exchange the player where exchanging when score is required generally, reached the point where you become tired and is hurt or it has not gone well, or because of the other strategy reason like the thing which comes having the attack person in place of the protection person.

Here is the point!!! Did they win??? Well, I will answer that for you. Yes they did, and I'm sure they are not hurting today. If they are hurting over a practice before the final four then I think that is just selfish. We would also like you to know that we know who started this thread.
If you are unhappy then please leave the school !!!!!!! Chances are your child will not get much time next year, especially after you started this thread before the final four. Why would a parent be so stupid to come on here to vent and cause the team any distraction? Here is another "point" for you. Should your child get a state championship ring? If your so upset cause of where your child was placed in training maybe your daughter is not good enough to play in a competive enviroment.Oh, and please stop fighting your childs battles. Have them come ask the coach for themselves and let them grow up!!!

Re: What's the point?
No school gives Athletic scholarships, not even the private ones. No the players were not recruited. Who would recruit players that are not good enough to play, and that is what this thread is about. So again, here is the "point". If your child can't play at tha level, then you have a choice. Improve or leave. Because the online cowardly complaining will not be tolerated!!!!!
