Re: 2009-2010 FHSAA District Assignments Announced
next years playoffs will be interesting.
I was hoping to be away from st johns but instead we get moved to a new region where out quarter final game will be against Master's Academy, Orangewood, or someone else from that district.
Region 2 is Class 2A looks really tough next year.
Re: 2009-2010 FHSAA District Assignments Announced
Agreed. Hopefully some changes are made by the state after the appeals deadline. Look at 2A Region 1 District 2. There are only 2 girls teams in it. Both are guaranteed a trip to regionals regardless of record. There are only 3 teams in 2A Region 1 District 1. I know that part of the state doesn't have as many schools but since the state probably won't change its playoff structure, many of the better teams in the state will be out early (or never make it) while some teams will continue to get killed in regional play because the system put them in.
The current FHSAA system even makes the BCS look well organized.
