Boys 6A district 13 "bye?"

Anybody know why the runner up boys in 6A district 13 was vacant in the playoffs and Miami had a bye into the second round?

Anybody know why the runner up boys in 6A district 13 was vacant in the playoffs and Miami had a bye into the second round?

The district runner-up of 6a-district 13 used an ineligible player and was discovered after they won the semi-final of districts. So they got 2nd place in districts and made the state playoffs....sort of. They just took the spot for someone else they upset in the district semi's, I think it was Miami American who was something like 19-2-2 this year.
