Who cares. The next time you are at a soccer game...girls or boys, turn around and look in the stands. you can discuss it with the other six people that are there.

THere are a couple of schools in Pinellas County that can put people inthe stands. Sorry, but if your gate does not make enough to to pay for the lights or the administrators that are present, then you should not have the sport. Each sport should be self supportive. If it isn't, get rid of it.

Kids are taking classes in trailors......we need no soccer, football, baseball, or any other team while kids are going to schools in trailors.

oh...by the way...my child is a varisty soccer player who would lose out.

There are plenty of things the school can do without cutting sports. You can't have boy sports with girl sports, they can look at cuts all they want but I can't see them cutting soccer.

Football is probably the most costly.

I would rather my child be taught in a safe educational environment with good teachers than have the ability to sit in a trailor and go see a football team on Friday night.

I CAN GAURANTEE YOU FOOTBALL WOULD BE THE LAST TO GO AND YOU SOUND JEALOUS ? FOOTBALL WILL NEVER BE BROUGHT UP TO GO AWAY UNTIL THE END AND YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK ! IT'S ABOUT WHAT FILLS THE STANDS AND THAT SURE ISNT SOCCER NIGHT AFTER NIGHT WITH THE LIGHTS ON AND EMPTY STANDS ......

I doubt any of you were at the Jesuit game or care at all for that matter, but Jesuit can put a great crowd in the stands... Watch the news or something there were TV crews out there.

I said over and over...a few teams will fill the stands. For the most part, they are empty.

We played in a tournament this year....three to four days of games. I was there every night. You could have dropped a bomb in the place on any one of the nights and other than the 15-20 fans, you would have only killed the players.

Especially if its really cold.......
You would think there would at least be 1 parent per child, but no.....

Maybe if they stop charging students full price , maybe the attendance would be better ? $6 for the regionals and the students get zero break *** ? Try $3 for students and $6 for the adults . Heck some places are even charging 2 and 3 year old kids for this crap . Outrageous !

You can't blame the schools for that. Those prices are mandated by the FHSAA, and the schools, since they are members, are obligated to go along with it.

Then plan on empty stands . Football discounts during its tournament to students and children and do not seem to have a problem . Plus more money would be spent at the concessions ?
