I looked at the box scores on the Tampa Prep website and they show her with only 1 goal in a game that was 8- 0.

Why all of the self promotion?

Tampa Prep is lame and both the boys and girls only play soft and small schools with no talent pool. Get over it!

You do realize we are talking High School Soccer ???? Many kids from all kinds of teams are scoring goals in HS. Good for them, but don't get that confused with high level soccer. There are kids all over florida that have more goals than your phenom and they do not even play with their clubs "A" team.

yes tampa prep is only a 2a school, but they do not just play their "easy" teams. they schedule harder, higher classification teams so they can do well in the playoffs. thats what GOOD teams do. they play harder teams so when playoff time comes their competition wont be as hard as an average team.

as for colby maffei - considering shes a freshman starting on a state championship team - which is not a fluke they won.
so lets review: freshman, starting on a state championship team, scoring a hat trick in their last game against a team from jacksonville, and she has great speed as well as a hard shot. shooting from the top of the left box and hitting the far right bottom corner id say is a pretty nice shot.

therefore - she is a 14 yr old girl starting on a state championship soccer and is one of their leading scorers. ya shes pretty damn good.

I agree, adding name is not very bright !!! Glad you are proud of your kid, but playing on team and taking credit for last year???? I was at the final four last year and great that your team won, but AH had their two star players out for the match, and if I recall the forwards were not 8th graders???
Bragging, you should see that a ninth grader lead Wellington to the 6A state Title, also look at freshman from Oviedo that were playing. Be happy but you are far from special!! If she leads them to title this year then you have cause for boasting. HS teams change year after year!! Look down at AH-Delray they have 2 8th graders starting with 4 freshman, those kids are phenoms. Don't get ahead of yourself and please keep names off here it is for your own good, FYI.
