I saw Mitchell play Alonso last night.
Mitchell looks pretty strong. I saw stPETE and Gaither play the other night.
I would rank them:
Mithchell
Alonso
Gaither
stPETE.
I have not seen the other 2 yet

Mitchell beat Sickles 3 - 2 on Tuesday

Wednesday Sickles beat Countryside 3 - 1

I would say that Mitchell is the top team but maybe Sickles has moved into the #2 spot.

This is a competitive district, but we are ultimately 2 months from the district tournament and much could change.

At leat one or more decent teams will not move-on into the State playoffs from this district.

Mitchell lost to George Jenkins last night 5-0. This game was very one sided.

If Mitchell is the best in this district then it must be a very weak district this year.

Mitchell beat Sickles 3 - 2 on Tuesday

Wednesday Sickles beat Countryside 3 - 1

I would say that Mitchell is the top team but maybe Sickles has moved into the #2 spot.

Mitchell lost 10 seniors and some very key players. That was evident last night as Mitchell was completely out played.

Sickles always claims to have talent. People tell us each year how good they are and they always fail to impress when it counts. I don't know if it is that they are overrated or if it is the coach that everyone seems to complain about. We dominated them in the 1st half of our game but they did play well in the 2nd half. I think it was more that our girls let up after having a 3-1 lead at half.

St Pete Lost key players and I heard they were not much this year but I have not seen them.

Countryside have not seen but lost to Sickles 3-1

Alonso looked surprisingly weak in our game. Not much aggressiveness and looked very weak in the back. They have a couple of good players but they did not look like last years team at all.

Gaither have not seen

I believe these are the current standings
Countryside and St. Petersburg play Dec 17th that is why they have one less game.

Mitchell 3 0 1

Alonso 2 2 0

Gaither 1 1 2

St. Pete. 1 1 1

Sickles 1 2 1

Countryside 0 2 1

St P ete beat Alonso in the district game 2-1. At the Hurricane Watch Tournament, the result was reversed as Alonso won 3-2. MItchell appears to be the best of this District, but the battle for the seond seed remains open. The District Tournament should be one of the most closely contested in the Tampa Bay area, unlike 5A, where they will be mercy rules game aplenty.

Unfortunately for Alonso the win in the Hurricane does not count in Districts.

This is a very weak division this year, 5a may have some lopsided games but is they also have the best teams. Just look at how badly Mitchell got beat against George Jenkins 5-0. Mitchell may be the best team in 6A Tampabay area but they are no match for the top 5A squads this year.

The best teams in the Tampa Bay area are (not in order).
Palm Harbor
Plant
Newsome
Bloomington
East Lake ?

These are all 5A teams.

Is it true that the Sickles Coach ran off 2 National Team players, a Goalie that is going to a D1 school next year and her sister who is a top scorer on a state champion team,in just the last two years?

Yes, yes and Yes! It has been on here before. He is an idiot and has run off many others back when my daughter played.
