Fleming knew where to attack Bartram's weakness, the wings (no speed, skill, ability to cross) and they were continually giving up the middle. Fleming forced BT to play their type of game. It was possession soccer vs kick and run which worked because of BTs weak wing play.

There's no doubt BT wins that match up 8 out of 9 times , but at least now we don't have to listen to that one idiot loudmouth parent from BT at the final 4. Karma ,karma.

Yeah exactly. They knew exacty how to stop BT because everyone knows they're better. Fleming forced them to play there style of game which is bs kick and run. Btw bartram does not have cherry pickets. They have by far the best forward middle and defence out of everyone. What does Fleming have? Nothing. At all. Fast forwards. If it wasnt for the refs they wouldve lost and bartram has killed them everytime they've played them so they are better. Who cares if Fleming won when it counted. Like I said and everyone knows without the reff they are nothing and they will lose next round so it really doesn't even matter. There not going far.

Yeah cause we have the bestforward in the area. And we have the strongest middle oh and then we have on of the most solid defences that anyones ever seen. Does that sound better? A little more accurate. There's no way there an average team. Everyone that plays is out standing and the only weakness was the wings so you are very very wrong.

Clearly, BT was the favored team. But, in the playoffs, you have to win. That's when the real season begins. The undefeated regular season means nothing. Scoring records mean nothing. Beating FI twice previously and owning them during the regular season means nothing. Being the 'better' team means nothing. BT's achilles heel is the weak district they are forced to play in, and their unwillingness or inability to schedule as many really difficult games as they can.

Their undefeated season came at the expense of yet another early departure from the playoffs.

Looking forward, FI probably doesn't get past Moseley in the Regional Final. BT might not have gotten past Moseley either, but we will never know. In any event, the furthest FI or BT would get is the State Semi-Finals. There are too many better teams in 5A in other parts of the state.

For some teams, their season does not fulfill expectations without a State Championship. Bolles is that way, SJCD is that way. Before redistricting, Nease was that way. PV will become that way. BT has no concept of that, and they will never succeed until they do. Too bad. This should have been their season to actually do something.

I Agree I just also think bartram wouldve gone all the way if it weren't for that unfortunate loss. And trust me, this is the year that they were set with going all the way. They are not satisfied with a loss in this round esp. To Fleming who they've beaten to a pulp before. This was supposed to be the year they went. And now that mosley lost in the same kinda upset to chiles Fleming has a frem pass and George Jenkins in gonna win.

Very good points but I do have to say bartram had one of the harder schedules, I know it doesn't matter know but to give them some credit because they played sjcd and tied , they played stanton twice and tied. They played bolles and won and they played Fleming 3 times beat them 2 out of 3 times and played gulliver prep and ponte vedra and won. They played everyone that was worth playing around here so there undefeated season was hard earned. Even though it doesn't

Looks like whoever is posting from Bartram could use more time in an English class instead of on a soccer field to get help with grammar and spelling! It is a hard lesson to swallow that you have to win when it counts most:)

NO, I am not. If they are so great why will the only way the will be at the state championships is in the stands? You have to win when it matters. I have seen them play, I know that they some talent, but an undefeated season means nothing. You get the looking foward and you don't take care of business. It is a sign of arrogance.

Well I was thinking this was a post from a certain BLMD from CS but I thought some of the words used in the post were a little too sophisticated. That was until I got to the last sentence and that pretty much nailed it.

It's amazing what little crappy refs can do.
Especially when the center ref has the whole middle of the field and the goalie think f it's a throw while the side judge said it was a foul. But didn't tell anybody. Goooooood refs.
