BT is strong this year and will contend. Next year should be a favorite for State. Only two seniors on the team this year.

Palm Harbor and George Jenkins favorites this year and Satellite.

St. P ete 1 Seminole 1. Seminole is still unbeaten but the St. P ete goalkeeper had an outstanding game to hold off a furious second half by Seminole.

In 30 years of playing & watching soccer at all different levels of competition, from the smallest youth rec. leagues to the top pro, national, international teams and everything in between, I had never seen a ref (with a clear agenda) blow a game’s final whistle as a team was in the process of actually kicking in the winning goal, and actually disallowing the legitimate score, This was not in midfield during a lull in the action before the play developed, not even after the first pass, no, this guy actually watch the team move the ball down, get into scoring position on a clear breakaway and then decided to blow the game dead as (at the exact time) the scoring forward was booting the ball past the keeper for the goal from the top of the 18!!!!!!!!!!, simply un-blipping-believable, everyone there was stunted including the St. Thomas parents and players who all acknowledge that it was a clear mistake. Only hope this idiot never is allowed to ref another game involving the Douglas HS Varsity Girls team because after what was said to him from the stands as he cowardly ran off the field after blowing the call, he might be even more biased against them now. This guy is a complete embarrassment to all refs.
