KP will not see the time of day on Varsity . Should try another sport like golf :!:

      Re: Keepers

KP started and played every minute vs. Gaither last night.
He made two key saves, one of which kept Gaither from scoring first.
For his first full start, he played very well.

Gaither must really stink this year or they were missing some really key players ? Because we all know KP just doesnt have it . Very weak leg and not very athletic at all .

Pinellas Has a very weak good of keepers returning. Maybe some Freshmen will step up.
Hillsborough has a couple of good keepers but overall a weak lot. The good keepers are almost all seniors, that means unless freshman step up it will be a bad season next year.
Pasco has been weak at this position for some time.
Not totally true about pinellas. I know of a keeper that is very good. I will stay away from names and schools in order to protect from slamming.
I have seen this keeper with her club team in state cup and now with her HS team.
She is one of the best leaders I have seen at this postition in a long time. She manages the team better than most. As well, her instructions are knowledgable.
Many times, keepers just yell from back there, but this one knows how to move her team. She constantly speaks and is relied on by her coaches to do so.
She has great technical skills and an ability to cover the box with speed and power for her size.
The best attribute is that she can play well with a strong club team and keeps her skill and composure while playing on a not so good high school team. It is fairly amazing that she stays in it with her HS team.

I have had an opportunity to see many keepers in this state and I have to put her at the top of the list.

I have not seen anything like you are stating in Pinellas. I don't think she is from one of the big schools or big clubs because I have not seen her.
