Nothing will be done about this. Sickles girls soccer program has always tried to recruit players but his bad reputation has hurt him lately and he is not getting the players. I was told that some parents were so upset at the sickles girls coach that they went to the school and told them of these recruiting violations but when the parents were told the girls that were recruited would be suspended from playing for 1 year they didn't push forward. The school did little to find out if it was true and closed the case. Some parents did write FHSAA but never heard anything.
At Gaither boys soccer, the coach always has been accused recruiting and every year there are complaints to FHSAA and nothing is ever done. FHSAA is aware of these matters but they don't do very much. I am not sure that they are staffed properly or if it is that parents will not cooperate because the rule is that the kids will have to sit out a year.
These are not the only schools that recruit.

Keep on gambling with your kids future , because this one is being checked and that is a fact from the horses mouth .
See ya in the funny pages

I did not read all the threads but in our area you do not have to live in our district to go to our school. All our high schools offer special interest academies that you can apply to. If you get accepted you can go to the school you applied to. If your mom or dad works in our school district you can go to any school they choose. It goes both ways for all schools and no one is complaining about this. If your school is doing something wrong they will get caught. Otherwise you need to move on and get over it. Your son/daughter will get more playing time because this stellar athlete is not at youe school.

To the kids the point is not Club vs High School soccer. They want to represent their schools by playing. Actually I think the parents care more about wins and losses. Their are no kids on this website just parents and coaches. And if you are so stupid to think the kids would not care if soccer wasn't played in school, you are out of touch with reality and kids.

The problem is many coaches at the High School level have been recruiting players for years. It has been reported and nothing has been done to stop it from continuing. Two of the well known schools that have been accused of recruiting in the past are Gaither Boys and Sickles Girls for soccer.
