I agree with this score. I have seen both teams play this year. The strong District that Wharton plays in prepared them well for their recent run.

TEAM W-L-T Pct. W-L-T Pct. GF GA STRK Last: Next:
    Freedom 21-6-0 .778 6-1-0 .857 91 31 1 L (L) 0-1 -

    Bloomingdale 11-7-3 .595 6-1-0 .857 45 31 1 L (L) 1-2 -
    King 9-6-2 .588 5-2-0 .714 41 34 1 L (L) 0-5 -

    Tampa Bay Tech 1-13-0 .071 0-7-0 .000 12 65 12 L (L) 0-7

    Compared to Jesuit's weak district:

TEAM W-L-T Pct. W-L-T Pct. GF GA STRK Last: Next:
    Jesuit 27-2-0 .931 8-0-0 1.000 111 13 15 W (W) 3-2 Pregame

    Hillsborough 5-5-2 .500 3-2-1 .583 18 24 2 L (L) 0-4 -
    Chamberlain 6-7-0 .462 5-4-0 .556 28 44 1 W (W) 3-2 -
    Leto 9-11-2 .455 5-2-1 .688 44 46 1 L (L) 2-3 -
    Middleton 3-9-2 .286 2-5-1 .313 19 44 2 L (L) 0-2 -
    Robinson 3-9-2 .286 2-4-2 .375 31 53 5 L (L) 1-5 -
    Blake 1-11-0 .083 0-7-0 .000 6 56 2 L (L) 0-8 -
    Jefferson 0-11-0 .000 0-7-0 .000 11 72 11 L (L) 0-6 -

Wharton's players AB and Joey L have too much speed for Jesuit defense. Score will be 2-1 or 3-1 Wharton.
Here is a partial list of the teams making the playoffs this year that Jesuit has faced and beaten (+their final records):

    6A:
    Melbourne (20-4-1)
    Gaither (20-3-3)

    5A:
    Mariner (19-5-5)
    George Jenkins (22-2-3)
    East Lake (12-2-2)
    Palm Harbour University (19-3-2)

    3A:
    Berkely Prep (17-6-1)

    2A:
American Heritage - Delray Beach (19-6-3) still playing

I think their record stands up well in comparison.

Also one other notable win against a quality 3A opponent:

Fernandina Beach (16-2-3 -- final DownSouthRankings as of 1/20/08), lost to Bolles in Districts

Throw the records out the window. Its is about matchups and Jesuits defense will not match up well with Whartons speed. Wharton will win this game but it won't be easy. Both are excellent teams.

Jesuit's defense is fast enough. How good is the Wharton defense? What happened against Plant City? (0 - 4 loss)

          I disagree. I think Jesuit's offense will prevail. Jesuit 3 - 1.

Just as you talk about Jesuit being sick, Wharton had plenty of injuries throughout the season (P.C. game).....they are healthy now......should be a great game.....Wharton 2 Jesuit 1

Apparently you haven't watched Wharton's games recently. Wharton will make mince meat out of Jesuit's midfield which is where games are won or lost. The big kid in the middle for Wharton will move the middle up the field for Wharton.

Jesuit's midfield is technically solid across the pitch, with excellent quickness. Jesuit's advantage throughout most of the year has been the depth of their talent. No weak links to exploit.

No way you can beat Jesuit, they've done a far better job of recruiting and it will show tomorrow!!!

Yeh, I agree with the recruiting bit. Wharton doesn't recruit, they just play great together as a team. And that will be the difference!

jesuit is definately an overrated team without a doubt.. i mean for being ranked in the 5th in the nation they are not as good as they were back in 2001..i saw their regional championship game against Bradenton Southeast it was a really good match up. southeast had some speed on the wings and up front, jesuit's goalie made some key saves but i think the refs. definetely gave jesuit their 3rd goal because it was an obvious offsides call..the final score was jesuit-3 and southeast-2..a very physical and exciting game southeast could have tied up the game in stoppage time but again their goalie made the save..i predict
                            wharton-2
                            jesuit-1

Whartons entire lineup was taking out after the second goal.... every team has a bad game.... that was whartons..
