Were you at the game? It was 43 seconds on the clock. None the less, I wouldn't call it a save. The player kicked the ball right to her. The penalty kick shootout was one of the worst exhibitions I have ever seen, aside from what Heritage did in the 2A game.

Worse how? Too many Oviedo kickers and Heritage kickers both missed their shots?

As far as a goalie is concerned, they do their job if they deflect one shot, they become heros when they deflect two. The rest is up to the team. Just saw a replay of the USA vs CHINA game where Brandi Chastain sinks the winning goal and rips her shirt off, and that's what the coach told Briana.

BTW, were rules changed since that USA vs CHINA game? Because Briana came off her line, stepping one or two steps forward each time. She anticipated where the ball would go, then actually stepped forward. Are the rules different now? Are goalies only allowed to go side to side?
