will someone explain why two yellow cards dont mean a red in HS?

I think it does, or should, but I also heard there is no suspension for a two yellow red. Go to FHSAA site, they should know -

FHSAA doesn't want the reports on a two yellow card event. That's why the referees don't show a red. When a red card is shown, that means two things, There's going to be a report with a fine to the school and the team plays short. The player should have been DQ's for the rest of that game, but they're not suspended for the next game. His/her team also gets to put in a sub. If it's a straight red, no sub and there is a follow-on suspension.Originally posted by AnonymousComment

It is likely because the consequence for a red card is far greater in high school than club. There are mininum suspensions and fines, etc. If the behavior is so flagrant, they should be given a red and forced to suffer the consequences, but for minor behavior, the only school, parents, etc are penalized under the absurd rules. In football if they commit a personal foul, they get 15 yards, no big deal. In soccer, they would get a red, have to pay fines, be suspensed and the school would suffer consequences as well.Comment

That's the problem with soccer . Why are there fines in high school soccer and why do they charge little kids full amounts to get in to high school games ? And everyone wonders why high school soccer is going down the shi#er :shock:Comment

If a kid knows she is not going to get a red card she will do the best she can to hurt the other side, and then sit quietly smiling to herself and huddling up to the coach on the bench! :xComment
