Here's the latest post on the team rosters:
The Orange County vs. Seminole County boys senior soccer game on Saturday at 8 p.m. in Winter Park features six All-Central Florida First Team selections.
The Seminole roster is led by midfielder Tyler McDaniel (22 goals, 10 assists) and defender Justin Green of Lake Mary, and Orangewood Christian forward Aaron Gendreau (24 goals) and midfielder Josh Hudson.
The Orange roster features Olympia forward Deividy Cunha and Ocoee goalkeeper Keniel Baker, who allowed just 13 goals this past season.
The boys game will be played at Showalter Field following the girls game at 6 p.m. Admission to the double-header is $5 per person.
Next Saturday (March 13) Bright House Sports Network Channel 47 will broadcast the girls game at 12 noon and the boys game at 4 p.m.
– ORANGE COUNTY BOYS –
Playing alongside Cunha on the Orange County team are Olympia High teammates Timmy Gross (midfielder) and defenders Robert Kirkwood and Marco Fumagalli. They helped the Titans advance to the region finals this past season.
Midfielder Sebastian Gonzalez is the lone representative from Celebration’s region final team.
Helping anchor the defense will be Winter Park keeper Orman Kimborough and defenders Luis Valazquez of University and Timber Creek’s Jorge Nazario and Garrett Depietaro.
Antonio Ascencio (University), Steven Harvey (Apopka), Sebastian Carmona (Boone), John Labrador (Cypress Creek) and Mitch Handley (Winter Park) make up the midfield while forwards Ricardo King (Colonial), Kejoun Benjamin (Ocoee) and Luke Davis (Lake Highland Prep) round out the roster.
– SEMINOLE COUNTY BOYS –
Seminole County will be represented by nine All-Seminole Athletic Conference First Team selections, including McDaniel and Green. Among them are goalkeeper Patrick Bond (Lyman); defenders Omner Morelos (Winter Springs), Ryan McDonald (Seminole) and Kraig Naas (Lyman); midfielder Eric Skiko (Lake Mary); and forwards Taylor Cope (Hagerty) and Joey Hollis (Lake Howell).
Also representing the state finals team from Seminole are goalkeeper Ryan Ensign and midfielder Jason Marthe. Defender Connor McCarthy, forward Robbie Hamoud and midfielders Marco Solano and Matthew Ilter made the cut from Lake Mary’s region final team.
Rounding out the remainder of the Seminole County roster is Hagerty midfielders Derek Eiflander and Erick Hamann; Lake Howell defender Brandon Carpenter; and Lyman forward Daniel Jimenez and midfielder Brendan Holmes.
