He is about 6'3" and very athletic, knows how to finish. Orangewood will have no problem moving on. Lakeland Christian did not finish their chances last night, 24 shots on goal, 6 from point blank.
The field will be an issue if it rains again. Last night was borderline playable.

I agree that you cannot take anyone for granted in this region. There are no easy matches, which makes it a lot of fun and very exciting.

FAA plays very hard. Their best player is number 10 at central mid. number 18 up top is an extremely athletic player with unbelievable precision in his finishing ability.
Field is deceptive as it is a converted football/baseball field. it is 55 yards wide, 1/2 is clay sided and has a lot of divots. outfield side is nice, but the entire field will hold water and i mean HOLD water.
Coach is extremely nice and the players play very hard. They will give owood a decent game, but owood should win by 4.
Field will negate several of those chances so i predict 2-1 owood.

Why do coaches insist on playing on a 55 wide yard field. There is no skill tactically for any team to play without width and in doing so evens the playing field if your tactics are to kick and run. If coaches play on such then they themselves are in need of checking themselves as coaches. If they have no alternative but to play on their school field then try to make it as wide as possible or find an alternative site. Soccer is not meant to be played on narrow fields.

We played at St. John's on Friday (Girls Regional Final), we heard that their field was 55 yards, but were surprised when we got there. If I recall, it was 62-64 yards wide, which is closer to most high school fields. And considering all the rain on Friday, the pitch was in very good shape.
We played on the field inside the track that night. I had heard they use both fields though.

That is a small field. We did prepare for the smaller field and were happy when we saw the upper field set up.
