I believe the tournament was in Tallahassee?? They were in lowest bracket in Texas and why did Carlos refuse to play Douglas & American Heritage??

Why are we even talking about this team, they are done for 2010 ??

What about all the public schools they play during the regular season? Definitely not a fair match up. What do they gain by beating a team 8-0?

Douglas is not in the same league as STA. Teams Douglas struggled with, STA beat 5 or 6-0 Heritage would probably be an even matchup. Even West Boca should have been a 4 or 5-1 game if not for the fact that it was bad shooting day (everything was to the keeper or over).
Oh well, I'm sure you wont agree

Difficult at best to make accurate comparisons (specially one stating that a team is not in the same league as another) by simply using the old "common opponent" formula. As you should know by now these HS girls teams are all very inconsistent (i.e STA loosing to WB a game they should have won 5-0) Just because one team struggles with an opponent one day, and another beats that same opponent easily at a different date does not necessarily mean much if anything at all. Even after a head to head match it can be difficult to make such a statement on a single result. Not sure what "league" you think STA is in, but obviously you have been drinking a lot of their Kool-Aid, as evident by the fact that you still believe ("should have been a 4 or 5-1 game") that even WB is not in the same league as SAT. Put down the Kool-Aid for a couple of days, it might d you some good...........

I would suggest that St Thomas hurry up and schedule West Boca and Douglas next year since they return everyone and they THINK they are so much better. I would suggest a nice charatable venue before season starts that most of the best area teams played this year Boca High Cancer Fundraiser approx Nov 1. Then play during the season to truely gage where you are. As for the STA - WB game I would just say that WB had the better Defense and Keepers that day and no it would not have been 4-1 or 5-0 game you are drinking the Koolaid. STA did dominate play first 15 minutes of game. After that it was evenly played both ways with WB having a number of opportunities in 2nd half. STA goal was set up by questionable foul just outside box and STA was lucky #10 WB got a cramp after she scored and had to miss last 10 minutes of game and first overtime otherwise most likely game would not have gone to shootout. As for matchup with AHP they are to fast and strong up front for STA and would dominate this matchup.

if you think this is really true, ask any person who has ever played with those girls. the players on the field can only hit their true potential if they trust the keeper behind them. you're a dumbass. And she had many saves that game, even a high ball.
