This is what happens when you go through the regular season playing powder puffs to make your record look good. It doesn't prepare the team for post season. And lets face it, Flagler PC probably wouldn't even be mentioned as a top tier team in most conversations. Blame your coach, they do the scheduling.

Can someone please stop that PHU girl from scoring, so we can quit having to wake up to her picture in the newspaper? Come on defenders, she is not that good. She is shut down in club games because she stands in front of the goal waiting for the ball. Every club team knows she does have a decent shot, but she cannot hold onto the ball if you challenge her 1v1. Just mark her and knock them out of this tournament, please.....

So true and the words she went "streaking" towards the goal in the St Pete Times article made me think she must have been playing n-aked because she is not fast.

Seems every town has favorites that are in paper every day!!
Tampa area is in love with Tampa Prep sophomore! wondering if anyone else even plays on that team?
Palm Harbor is in love with forward!
Palm Beach paper is in love with Boca High ( leading story every day) when West Boca is best team in area??
Ft Lauderdale is in love with both St Thomas & Cardinal Gibbons?? Do we have to see them every day??

Must be alumni working at these papers ?

The Tampa forward can't score when they play quality teams either. How did she do against Berkley?

FYI, not too many forwards can score on the Berkley goalkeeper, hence the reason she is at at U17 National Team camp this week.

The Bloomingdale defense took care of this 18-0 team, except for the overtime portion of this favorite forward. Now into the postseason you will probably not hear too much of her except for what their parents will write for her to the reporters Give credit to where it belongs Bloomingdale did a very good job containing her although the outcome was not in favor of that the forward is not that good if you were there you could see that

be happy your newspapers cover soccer I don't even think the Orlando Sentinel knows there is soccer going on for the most part - we had a half page spread of one girl who is a weigh lifter and the district scores were box score in the corner of the same page. the person covering soccer has probably never been to a game - must ask his friends what is going on because it's obvious he knows nothing about soccer

That's true. I liked you comment about the Orlando Sentinel also. I live in Orlando, and it is very difficult to find out anything about soocer here. The Apopka Chief which is a small area newspaper does a great job informing us about Apopka sports.
