So true and the words she went "streaking" towards the goal in the St Pete Times article made me think she must have been playing n-aked because she is not fast.

It not streaking towards the goal, it standing by the goal cherry picking while someone else does all the work of getting the ball up the field. It been the way she has played for years.

Didn't Tampa Prep barely win with a 50 yd kick in the rain against a barely 500 team?? They are in trouble, thank god for easy region !!

The goal was certainly a little lucky, but the Terrapins played very well defensively.

King's wasn't close to .500 record-wise either, and they had a couple of players who were very impressive. Tampa Prep withstood that, JH making some good saves. They still need to work on their confidence, they're better than they think they are, but if they get that they're not going to be a pushover by any means.

Kings had a very down year, hurt by graduation last year. They did not beat any top teams this year. I think they got mercy ruled by both Heritage teams.

They don't have reporters scouting local soccer games; they publish what they are given.

Seriously? I've been to Disney -- Qualifier, Junior Showcase and Showcase -- for the past four years. I covered every day of the Super-Y North American Finals.

I was in West Palm Beach on Friday for Tampa Prep's game, and I'll be at close to every game for both Final Fours.

I would estimate in the last three months, I've been at over 40 High School games, regular season and playoffs, while calling coaches for stories and going out to meet players at practices ahead of or after important games.

And none of it has been because someone fed me a story in an e-mail.

You are the exception, not the rule! Most newspapers DO NOT cover soccer...high school or club!!

Can someone please stop that PHU girl from scoring, so we can quit having to wake up to her picture in the newspaper? Come on defenders, she is not that good. She is shut down in club games because she stands in front of the goal waiting for the ball. Every club team knows she does have a decent shot, but she cannot hold onto the ball if you challenge her 1v1. Just mark her and knock them out of this tournament, please.....

You've probably never even watched this girl play club because I'm pretty sure she won the Orange Classic tounament MVP and has done many things for her team.

That is not true. My daughters team won the championship game in the first division and the coaches selected players as MVP and in our case she was even given a scholarship check for $1,000.00. So your quote is incorrect.
