I have to wonder what they use as a dividing line between south florida and central florida? There are several teams in palm beach county that would be high up on this list.

The Miami Herald's HS sports reporting only covers Dade and Broward. They never have scores or stories for Palm Beach County. South Florida, to them, is just Dade and Broward.

Doubt any Dade team could beat any of the top 10 in Palm Beach county. Also Heritage Delray clearly is best team in South Florida 2A-6A, Jenson Beach , Wellington, Boca High, Spanish River, Palm Beach Central, West Boca all better than most on this list. Look at State Power rankings and this is clearly evident.

West Boca beat Douglas and lost to Wellington 1-0 and 0-1. Douglas beat WellingtonI think 3-2. Heritage beat West Boca 1-0 so all very even matched one goal games so each team can beat each other on any given day.

And Heritage Delray will beat Dougals today and Douglas will lose to Coral Springs tommorrow. With Douglas injured players return in Jan when it matters.

News Papers know only that St Thomas is usually strong so they put them on top, they do not do research on who they have played, beat, lost to etc. In coming freshman, outgoing Seniors, etc. It is based upon their history. The DownSouth rankings is a much better system and in their rankings AH Plantation is way above St Thomas.

Rankings mean nothing except something to talk about!! All teams play at the end and winners will be chosen on the field, as it should be!!

Question is: Who will be playing best AND be healthy come play-offs in January???
