Well damn, you should have played 3A so you could lose to FB in states 2 years in a row in 2 different classifications... oh well, lucky you i suppose.
i guess it doesnt help they their an all boy 3A school. they have twice the selection of anyother 3a school.

you're lucky you're not in 3A or 2A, because you wouldn't win a state ti tle in either of those classes, you wouldn't even get to final 4 in 2A so be thankful you're in 5A

Are you kidding? 5A has much better teams than 2A, 3A, and even 4A.

Hey MORON - FHSAA determines the school's athletic classification for single-gender schools by doubling the student population, not including the senior class.

scholarships are open to anyone who applies to Tampa Prep. Besides, there isn't a player on the Tampa Prep soccer team that is on scholarship anyways

Overall yes, 5A is much better than 2A as a class. But in the post season regionals Jesuit would have to beat St Stephens and Tampa Prep in 2A, something they are not capable of doing unless both teams play a top team in the nation the day before and lose 6 starters to injuries. Jesuit isn't nearly as good as either of those teams when everyone is healthy on both sides.

I agree, Tampa Prep would beat Jesuit. Yes TP lost to F Beach and Jesuit beat them but it was a fluke. Don't get me wrong both are excellent teams with a lot of talent but Tampa Prep is without question better, its unfortunate the Jesuit coach wouldn't schedule them in the regular season.

no tp sucks. jesuit used to play tp every year and beat em 4-0 every time besides last year where they beat jesuit in pks with no ot. the game was fluke and jesuit should have won

What is it with you people and flukes? TP lost to FB on a fluke but I read somewhere they lost 3-1 and scored their lone goal in the last 2 minutes? Was that incorrect? I wouldnt call that a fluke, maybe losing 1-0 or 3-2, but I agree that TP is better than Jesuit.

Tampa Prep would beat Jesuit based upon what criteria? Knowing quite a few of the players on both sides, I would argue that Jesuit is far deeper in overall talent, and their defense is definitely stronger. As a former coach, I would suggest that there are probably several "power" teams the Jesuit coach would like to add to the schedule that don't WANT to play Jesuit.

No teams in jax are willing to play FB except their district and non pansy teams like Bartram and Providence. Thats why their schedule sucks so bad, they all have full schedules, but yet only have 18 games
