like the boys don't have drama ?!? Give me a break. The infamous Blue Card was put in place specifically for the boys game as they can't handle themselves.

Usually on here , people get a small section of reality and broadcast to all as if it were fact.

High School is just for fun, if you are not happy play JV or play basketball or something??

Of course boys have drama, it's just different drama. I have a boy and a girl and there is drama on both sides. Boys tend to be more of a "macho, chest thumping, I'm the BEST player, I am Alpha Male" crap. The parents also tend to fall into the "my son is the best" mindset too. The girls are more sensitive and the parents tend to treat like china dolls.

Of course, not EVERYONE is like that, but I have spent many years in this sport and it generally has tended to work that way.

Seen this many times in soccer. I would bet this is how it went:

Team is playing poorly, girl makes mistake. Coach is on sidelines and says at that moment, Wow, this is embarrassing. Teammates overhear and tell girl. Girls are talking about it and the story changes to "Coach called this girl out and said that she is an embarrassment to the team" Someone's parent overhears or hears it from their daughter and then comes on Talking SOccer to piss and moan.

Typical soccer drama from girls....

This coach tells the other parents how one girl lost the game and then the drama starts.
He turns players against each other and he tries to do the same with the parents. This is the way he likes it because he believes he is controlling.
If you live in Tampa and you have a daughter who has played soccer then you most likely know of his reputation.

Many of you stand by coaches that are abusive. If it is just for fun then let it be fun. This coach uses his position to manipulate young ladies and unfortunately he has a new group to manipulate each year. Say what you want but this is one bad dude.

The blue card is for intentional hand balls in the penalty area moron. It has nothing to do with gender.

Can anyone please suggest somewhere I could find fun classroom activities for high school students? A book, website...?

Ones that could be used in many different subject areas.
