If you have to ask..... OK, he was a major player that moved to Jax several years ago. Would have ended up at Fletcher but when his dad, a former player (Mexico and European teams), saw what joke the club scene was around here, he put in for a transfer immediately. They lived here for about 3 months max. The kid is long gone and just signed with a first division Mexican team.
Mexico's gain and Jax's loss. There isn't a player in the area that could come close to this kid.
By the way, the father thought Miami and Tampa were better options but still a joke.
If he had stayed, Fletcher would probably win the State this year. And, this is not the coach's fault. It was just Jax club soccer in general.

Pancho wouldn't have let Mandrain score 3 goals. fletch 6-0 if pancho plays.
I'll tell you what happened: mandarin wanted it more and dominated the game. they had too many weapons. they scored first and early. the ground was slippery and that big thug linebacker dude that can't play a lick of soccer slipped and mandarin took advantage of that for the first goal. flecth does not have a good defense and their sweeper was dinged up.
mandarin is just a better all around team that could make it this year...

If you were at the game, it was a game of two halves. Mandarin dominated the first, saw some good looks at the goal, some developed by good play and some developed by the field conditions and they finished three chances. The second half Fletcher had the best of play, saw the same number of good looks at the goal as Mandarin had in the first half but did not finish. Mandarin, team that took advantage of their chances won, as it should be. I do not have an actual count but I would bet the number of shots for the game were even, with shots on goal in Mandarin's favor. If I remember correctly, Fletcher had one corner kick and Mandarin had zero. The field was definately a factor as both teams chances came on the same end of the field (the mucky one).

I agree with the assessment of the game. It was a hard played game against rivals that are not bitter but rivals that respect one another that happene to arguably be the two best teams in the area. Mandarin got the early lead and in the 2nd half they didn't stick thier necks out to get forward and get more goals but defended their 3 goal lead and played solid defense. fletch had more set pieces that they tried to play dangerous balls into the box but the mandarin keeper came up big. it was a good game against two quality teams too bad someone had to go home.
