she's been gone since the end of November - playing with the Brazil U17 team.
    did she play last night?
no, she's been gone since the end of November - won't be back until 2nd or 3rd week of February.
Somebody should have informed the St. Pete Times before they talked her up for district play. It probably would have been more appropriate for them to do their homework and write an article about her exciting opportunity.
Or maybe you should have done your homework. The person in the paper was a senior. It was her little sister that went to brazil. Both are quality girls.

i would not call it playing last night she was poor to say the least, let her team down and knew it. she has skill but no direction. Another 'Mia' but one who holds the ball too much then loses it. More poor coaching by RF lost them that game, he has lived off his past players and without his stars he could manage nothing. Absolutely no skill whatsoever as a coach.

Agree completely - RF has team geared to put the ball at her feet even though it's painfully obvious, especially this year, that she can't do it alone. So many missed opportunities if she would have just passed the ball to wide open teammates on to many occassions to count. JV goalie did a great job stepping in for starting goalie who was admitted to All Childrens Sunday night and is still in the hospital - our prayers are with her.

you did not watched the game last night, St Pete should have won the game by 4 or 5, and she created quality chances to her teamates
if you have any problem with the coach you should be a man and you should talk to him, COWARD MAN.

agree they should have won the game - but passing the ball once or twice during the course of 50+ minutes of game time is not creating chances - the girls are caught off guard when she passes to them it's done so rarely. She is a great kid and a fantastic player but has been put on such a high pedestal by the coach that she thinks it's always up to her to win the game. She puts alot of pressure on herself and doesn't rely on her teammates. Add that to the fact that the younger players coming up are getting better and better and that makes anyone trying to do it alone fighting an uphill battle.

She played well. The other team had some players that did very well also. It was a hard fought game and was very exciting with some great individual plays.
