Top Girls Coaches in Brevard County

So how well do the strong programs align with the top coaches? Top coaches/schools (in my opinion) from north to south...

Titusville/Didden - knowledgeable coach - needs more talent
Merritt Island/Carswell - top coach with good talent
Viera/Richards - knowledgeable coach with top talent
Melbourne/Lords - up and coming top coach with top talent
Satellite/Weldon - great coach with good talent

The other Brevard coaches are amateurs.

The big game to see in Brevard will be Viera at Melbourne on 11/9 at 7pm. These are clearly the top 2 teams in the county.

Rosie and Mike Lord from Melbourne are probably the BEST coaches in Brevard County.

Bogus. I could coach that team to a state championship. We'll see how good these coaches are next year.

How would current Melbourne and Viera teams stack up against the Satellite HS teams from 07 and 08. Would they lose 1-0 3-0 or 5-0??

They will still be good coaches next year and the year after that. You will become an even better soccer player by their training. They are just that amazing!!!!

Mel HS coaches are good coaches. But they did not develop any of the players on the Melbourne high school team. That strong team is a result of a lot of good training from other Brevard club coaches and a lot of good athletes.

Yes you are right, however you still have to be a good coach when you have girls come from different clubs and have them unite together and play as a team which these coaches have been able to do.

If I remember correctly the 07 -08 Melbourne Team had Satellite 3-0 with 15 min left in the game and then made the mistake of putting in second and third string players and got caught and could not sub in time to win the game. Melbourne 3 - Satellite 3. Also in 06 -07' Melbourne put up a good fight and lost by a point and in 08 -09 Mel High won 7-2.

So let's see how they did.

                  Titusville/Didden - knowledgeable coach - needs more talent --- 4a, 3rd out of 6
                  Merritt Island/Carswell - top coach with good talent --- 4a, 1st out of 6
                  Viera/Richards - knowledgeable coach with top talent --- 5a, 2nd out of 3
Melbourne/Lords - up and coming top coach with top talent --- 5a, 1st out of 3
                  Satellite/Weldon - great coach with good talent --- 3a, 1st out of 7

No team in the country could touch the Satellite team of 2007. Close to ten future Division I players on that team, and that's after losing Ashlyn Harris, arguably the best GK in the country. Ella Stephan, Annick McBryar, Katie Jackson, Allison Griffin, and Tishia Jewell were close to unstoppable.

Agree - a bunch of very talented players that year. Did they win state?

Were they undefeated that year? I believe they had at least one lost
on their way to a state championship, so I think someone touched them. LOL

They went undefeated and finished ranked first in the country that year. It was a very talented squad, probably the best Satellite has ever had.

I apologize my data was incorrect the 2007 Class 5A State Champs
The Scorps had a record of 25-2-1. My Bad….Just like undefeated right?
They did have some great players on that team though.
