Except that Jesuit has the population of a 3A school also, but we get moved up anyways cuz we're nasty as hell. Also, our CC does 2A, as does wrestling. Football does 3A. So bite me.

I'm sorry, didn't you say something about "no excuses"?

What would it matter, a mere ranking, if you are one of the "best in the nation"? I'm just saying, one of the "best in the nation" getting shut out by no-name Fernandina must have been embarrassing, that's all. You'd think that was going to happen in the national championship game, if you were as good as you seem to think. Heck, Fernandina is a small public school and can't recruit from all over Florida (and most of South America).

Besides, all of the students are pregnant or expecting fathers, right?

Nasty is right! Bite me? Is that a nice Jesuit thing to say?

I didn't make the best in the nation claim, that was another overly ambitious poster. Also, Jesuit does not recruit at all, but many players are attracted by the winning tradition. FB was a good team, and the game could have gone either way. In the end however, class really means nothing. Just because you don't have less people in your school to choose froom does not mean you have less soccer players, it only means you have a less of a chance for them. That's why smaller class teams like Tampa Prep can beat the tar out of 6A teams. Stop being a hater, and yes I can say bite me.

Jesuit should always be in the State Final four with the talent they have at that school. The Jesuit J. V. Team could beat most varsity high school teams. The varsity coach at Jesuit stinks. His evaluation of talent is terrible. Most of the time he just puts his strongest players in the defense and hopes other teams can't score against him. He constantly tells his players not to play club soccer as high school soccer is where the scholarships come from, in other words he is just plain dumb when it comes to soccer. He is a nice guy but should not be coaching high school soccer.

Are you a current or former Jesuit player? No, you probably are a parent who has a kid that plays club and has a decent club coach. I know your type. Critique the HS coach and probably do the same to the club coach.

You sure sound disgruntled about this coach although they are one of the top teams in the state. Give the guy some credit. You can't just roll a team out on the pitch without providing some level of coaching.

Jesuit is a quality program and it was a good game last year. I just get tired of the "we're the best in the country" stuff.

It sounds like somebody's kid didn't make varsity.

Ya ya just realize it's stupid parents making those claims (if they're even associated w/ jesuit at all), not players. We have a realistic view of our talent.

Methinks they win DESPITE their coaching. Could be better.
