    UT Asst. Coach

It looks like UT has hired Eddie to act as an assistant coach. I guess the FYSA ban didn't affect his hirability after all.

I thought that after the Blackwatch/Amsterdam thing nobody would run the risk. Maybe in college they can afford to look the other way. How long will it be before he can coach kids again within FYSA?

From what I heard (if the rumors are true) his suspension following the Amsterdam debacle was either for 50 years or lifetime, as if it makes a difference, with FYSA.

You guys are all crazy, if you knew the facts he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. FYSA needed a scape goat and they found it. I am sure you won't believe it but it is the truth.

True. Eddie was the scapegoat. The three other adults on that trip had made the same trip a few years before with a different group of players and had similar problems with player conduct.

Now two of them are back coaching many of the 'amsterdam trip' players at an FYSA club for their u18 season

Who knows? He will not be missed. The newest asst. coach lets his kid take all of the PK's. I wonder how the upper classmen feel about that?

You are implying that the other girls are not capable of converting PK's. Maybe she is the only player good enough to make a PK. Or it could be a good way to gift a player numbers when they don't play regularly. If I was a senior busting by @#$ for 90 minutes every game and a coach had his daughter take a PK that I had earned, that might irritate me. UT has some players who work hard for 90 minutes. It's a shame that nepotism creates opportunities for those who don't.
