What would be more interesting is how many D3 players are even rostered. The D3 commit list always seems a bit fluffy and optimistic each year.

Doesn't cost a D3 coach anything to keep on a few extra players. D3 rosters tend to be larger.

Very impressive start! Large class with 15 of 46 starting or about a third. Many of last season’s subs now starting. This class is beginning to challenge 2013 as the largest number. Not sure of UMass starting numbers but looks like this class is the core of that team.

So that adds up to about half the kids playing a lot.

Whoever does this work, tracking starters and subs, thank you. It is interesting to see. I wonder where everyone ends up by the end of the season. I know there is a lot of attrition in college sports, but it’s interesting to see kids who continue to play and what the percentages are.
